The Rotary Club of Wallowa County is looking for applicants to attend the annual Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA) program in July.

RYLA is a week-long retreat for professionals aged 19-28 seeking to advance their interpersonal and leadership skills. The 2015 retreat is July 11-17 in Corbett.

Selection is through an application process including an essay. Tuition is paid by the Rotary Club. Deadline for applying is May 31. For information, contact Bob Crawford, the club’s vocational service chairman, at robertcrawford745@gmail.com.

During the week, RYLA participants have an opportunity to share and explore new ideas, enhance their communication skills, improve relationships with family, partners, co-workers and society, collect innovative ideas for successful leadership and business strategies, learn how to better understand themselves and others and learn about world fellowship and conflict resolution, according to Crawford.
