- Rich Rautenstrauch/Chieftain Wallowa third baseman Koby Frye applies a perfect tag on a Tiger Scot trying to steal third.
The Wallowa Cougars boys went on another slugfest Wednesday evening at Kirk Jones Memorial Field, beating the Weston McEwen/Helix JV team 15-4.
The game was even at 4-4 going into the bottom of the fourth inning when the Cougs rallied for 11 runs. Robert DeLancey hit a nice double to lead the charge with Josh Rummell hitting a three-run homer later in the inning.

Micheal Pendarvis pitched the first two innings for Wallowa, allowing only the four runs with reliever Noah Allen coming in and blanking the TigerScots the rest of the way.
Weston came to town without its star pitcher, who is scheduled to start a league game on Saturday.
The Cougars will play again at home this Friday, a doubleheader scheduled for a noon start, against the Baker/Powder Valley.
