During an April 8 Wallowa County Circuit Court hearing on her motion to modify conditions of her release on charges of delivery of a controlled substance to a minor and endangering the welfare of a minor, Stephanie Larae Rhodes, 35, of Enterprise, learned she was facing additional charges.
Enterprise police arrested Rhodes March 31 in connection with a custody dispute. Also arrested was Ethan Douglas Boone, 19, of Enterprise, on nine counts of various sex crimes.

Rhodes made a remote video appearance April 8 from the Union County Jail represented by her attorney Rick Dall. In the middle of the hearing, Wallowa County District Attorney Mona Williams announced Rhodes would be facing an additional 11 charges, including single new charges of delivery of a controlled substance to a minor as well as endangering the welfare of a minor.
The nine other counts included aiding and abetting the crimes of which Boone is accused. These include three counts of second-degree rape, two counts of second-degree sodomy and four counts of first-degree sex abuse.
Rhodes’ bail was initially set at $30,000 after her arrest last week, but with the additional charges, $50,000 was the minimum level at which bail could be set. Williams asked Judge Russell West to set it at $300,000 (the equal of Boone’s), while Dall argued Rhodes’ indigence and lack of a criminal record called for the minimum. He also said he thought $300,000 was probably unconstitutional. West set Rhodes’ bail at $100,000.
