Young EHS golf team improving

The Enterprise golf team traveled to Pendleton last Friday to play in the Small Schools Tournament held at the Pendleton Country Club. The boys placed fourth in the tourney with the girls finishing in sixth place.
Coach Mike Crawford said, “We’re not even close to mid season form but the kids are getting better. It’s a young team with a significant learning curve and patience will pay off for the kids later.”

Individually for the boys Senior Cody Irish led the team carding a 91. Brycen Locke was next with 99. Nate Anton shot a 109. Christian Ruckdashel and Isaac Rowley each tallied a score of 103.
Individually for the girls Carsen Sajonia shot a 95 tying for 4th place but placing fifth, overall. Jackie Jensen shot a 110, Nikki Maasdam 139 and Emma Hall added to the team total with a round of 158.
Coach Crawford has 23 kids on his team this year with grades from ninth to twelfth. They are, senior boys, Christian Ruckdashel, Cody Irish, Rocky Davidson, and Gotro Thanadkit, junior Isaac Rowley, sophomores Nate Anton, Jordan Collins, and Sunny Galli, Freshmen, Brycen Locke, Curtis Sanders, and Brett Greenshields.
On the girls side there are seniors, Carsen Sajonia and Emma Hall, Juniors, Stefany Christman, Jackie Jenson, and Nikki Maasdam, sophomores, Bette Rooney, Eyreus Rooney, and Emma Carlsen, freshmen Reece Christman, Gracie Carlsen, Gwen Jenson and Lucy Kissinger.
The golfers continues play at the Wildhorse Golf Course next Friday.
