All students will have their photo taken on registration day for the yearbook. Portrait packages will be available to purchase. Packages will be printed only for students paying on picture day. Student body cards will also be issued for students who pay their student body fee. This card is needed to get into home sporting events. Picture payment must be separate from other fees.
Athletic participation fees
Students participating in the interscholastic athletic program will pay a participation fee to partially defray the program’s expenses. Participation and registration fees must be paid separately. There will be no participation fee waivers. Payment must be made prior to participation.
Students in grades 9-12 involved in any interscholastic sport will be charged an $80 participation fee per sport. Students in grades 7-8 involved in sports will be charged a $40 participation fee per sport.
Seventh grade orientation
Seventh-graders and their parents/guardians are invited to an event 5-7 p.m. Aug. 27, starting in Reedsport Community Charter School’s small gym.
Besides getting registered and paying fees, students will be able to find their locker and schedule, check out their classrooms, meet teachers and staff, learn how to log onto computers, learn about sports and activities and participate in a scavenger hunt to win prizes.
Parents will learn how to log on to see their student’s grades, assignments and classroom activities. They’ll also meet staff, see classrooms, learn about the school and help their student with the scavenger hunt.
