Donna Craig, 47, of Wallowa, died April 24, 2014, in Rawlins, Wyo., due to heart complications while traveling with her husband and daughter to attend a family gathering in Georgia.

Donna was born in Santa Cruz, Calif., on May 17, 1966. The family moved to Oregon when she was 6 months old. Donna was well known for her passion for family, friends and animals. She spent the greater part of her life in Wallowa County.

She is survived by her husband, Jack, whom she met and fell in love with in Georgia. Donna was driving trucks for U.S. Express at the time. They were married May 27, 1999, at the family home on Alder Slope. She gave up the long haul trucking with the arrival of her daughter, Kristin Marie Craig. Donna cherished her as one of the most important persons in her life.

Also surviving are parents Bill and Bonnie Dietrich, sisters Shawna DeVault and Robin Dietrich, along with many foster brothers and sisters.

A celebration of life and potluck dinner will be held at her parents home on Sunday, May 11, at 1 p.m. All family and friends of the family are invited. The address is 81670 Reavis Lane, Enterprise.
