OSU instructor and Fishtrap writer-in-residence Sally Parrish will help students develop an understanding of poetry techniques and how to read with a more critical and constructive eye.
The class is scheduled to run 8:30-11:30 a.m. Fridays from April 4 through June 6 at the Fishtrap House, 400 E. Grant St., Enterprise.
Students should register at Fishtrap.org by Friday, March 14, to receive priority consideration; the class is limited to 12 students. The cost is $300 for three?OSU college credits, and students should budget for textbooks ($10-$25). A limited number of scholarships are available.
OSU has discounted its regular fee for Fishtrap College students, and the Ford Family Foundation is also underwriting the program to bring the cost down further.
If there are any spots left after an initial enrollment period, Fishtrap will open the class to adults in the community.
For more information, contact OSU instructor Sally Parrish, sally@fishtrap.org, or call Fishtrap, 541-426-3623.
