Llary Warnick Peterson, 77, of Joseph, died Jan. 17, 2014, at Wallowa Memorial Hospital in Enterprise.

Llary, 77, was born Oct. 16, 1937, in Boise, Idaho, to Lloyd Warnick Peterson and Vera Peterson. He moved in 1962 to Great Falls, Mont, where he married Sandra Hill and raised his family.

Llary moved to Joseph in 1988. Llary will be greatly missed by his friends in Joseph and by his family.

Llary was preceded in death by his parents, his younger sister Carol, and son Kraig Warnick Peterson.

He is survived by his son, Keith Warnick Peterson of Colorado, his daughter, Kris Pozder of Montana, seven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and his cousins, the Johnson family of Portland.

A private service will be held in March. The date has not yet been set.

Llarys urn will be buried in Joseph, the town he loved. Arrangements will be handled by Bollman Funeral Home, Enterprise.
