Participating in a weight class one step lower than acknowledged by the Oregon Schools Athletic Association, Enterprise freshman Nate Anton won the 98 lb. classification at a 16-team wrestling meet held Jan. 10-11 in Orofino, Idaho. When wrestling in Oregon, Anton regularly wrestles at this states lowest 106 lb. category, putting him at a size disadvantage in many matches.
The Outlaws had four other grapplers advance to the finals in a tournament won by Saint Maries, Idaho, but each lost in championship matches. Still, Enterprise, which took 11 wrestlers to Orofino, placed third as a team, narrowly behind Moscow, Idaho which won second place.
