-
Bee Charmed Marketplace owner Wendy Stewart, who just re-opened in a smaller space west of the Wallowa County Courthouse, is in her business's busiest time of the year: October through December.

A 10-year-old downtown business in Enterprise, Bee Charmed Marketplace, recently opened its doors in a much smaller location at 108 South River Street.
During the previous two years, business owner Wendy Stewart had her vintage scrapbooking, Christian book, balloons, hot and cold drink, and treasures-of-many-varieties store located in a 2,300-square-foot former pharmacy on the corner of Main and River streets, directly across from the Wallowa County Courthouse squares Pioneer Arch. For seven years prior to that, says Stewart, she operated her one-person business at 110 South River Street, next door to the location shes now returned to. Interesting enough, Stewart has returned full circle because about 10 years ago Bee Charmed Marketplace was located at 108 South River Street.
Stewart, who always has leased space for her business, says she returned to the smaller South River site to simplify my life.
Because of the artsy nature of her products, many of them seasonal, Stewart says the best economic time of the season for Bee Charmed Marketplace is October through December. Local people are my support, she says. The tourists are just a bonus.
