ENTERPRISE Professing that shes not a certified public accountant, Wallowa County native Amy Ramirez is stepping away from nine years of employment in the local banking community to launch full-time into a business based on ground-level financing.

Keepin It Simple LLC is the name of Ramirezs home-based endeavor where services she will provide include balancing checkbooks, paying bills, budgeting, data entry, and general organization of personal finances.

The 1993 graduate of Joseph High School who now lives in Enterprise says affordability is a major factor in her venture. Her current plan is to charge an hourly rate to help people of all ages get their finances back in order, and then charge a monthly maintenance fee of $25.

To educate people about the services available through Keepin It Simple, Ramirez says she will go door-to-door.

Face-to-face is very important, she says. Finances are very sensitive. Not just anyone can be trusted with them.
