The Wallowa County Stockgrowers Association will be accepting applications for its annual scholarships through July 15. College students from Wallowa County who are majoring in studies related to agriculture/natural resources are encouraged to apply.

Applicants may attend a variety of post-high school programs available through vocational schools, community colleges, or universities.

Two separate scholarship applications are available. Memorial scholarships include the Helen Boucher/Jim and C. Belle Probert Scholarship and the Wallowa County Stockgrowers Memorial Scholarship. In the past, scholarships of $1,000 have been awarded.

Applications are available at the Wallowa County OSU Extension Office in Enterprise or by contacting committee chair, Saralyn Johnson, at 541-263-0783. The July 15 deadline is firm.
