The Enterprise airport, which has been undergoing rejuvenation and large scale construction changes during the past five weeks, was completed this last weekend. The strip, located on the Melvin Pace property at the east edge of Enterprise, has been in use for the past several years, but has long been considered a bush pilot field. Through the Enterprise City Council, the city furnished gravel for the improvements at the airport.

Voters of the school districts at Troy (54) and Eden (58) voted Monday to consolidate their districts. A previous vote last July to consolidate both districts with Enterprise (21) was rejected. The Monday vote showed a high percentage of eligible voters at the polls, with five votes cast at Eden and six at Troy.
