Barbara J. Bruce, 65, died May 26, 2013, in Rancho Cucamonga, Calif., from complications of pneumonia.  A simple service was held there May 28.

Barbara was born March 24, 1948, in Enterprise, to Willard and Bonnie Wilson.  She graduated in 1966 from Joseph High School and attended Kinman Business University in Spokane, Wash. 

She married Joe T. Bruce in San Diego, Calif., and they had two children, Jacqueline and Jeffrey.  The couple later divorced. 

Barbara and her children moved to Waitsburg, Wash., in 1988 where she was employed by the McGregor Co., and then transferred to that company in Colfax, Wash.  They moved to Spokane where she was employed for 17 years as office manager at The Arc of Spokane. She retired in August, 2011, and moved to Rancho Cucamonga to live with her daughter and family.

Barbara is survived by her daughter Jacque and grandsons Mohammad and Ameen of Rancho Cucamonga; son Jeff and daughter Sophia of Spokane, Wash.; sister Sharon Miller, Waitsburg, Wash.; and nieces Kim Clark, Kris Keeney, Lori Linney, Linda Tippett, and nephew Steve Tippett and their families.  She was preceded in death by her parents and sister Patricia Tippett.
