Jo-Hi thespians to stage dinner theater

WALLOWA LAKE For the 17th year, the Joseph High School Thespians will present their popular audience-participation Murder Mystery Dinner Theater at Wallowa Lake Lodge.

This years mystery, Cupids Crime is scheduled at 6 p.m. Friday and Saturday, Feb. 8 and 9. Reservations are required and may be made by calling the Lodge directly at 541-432-9821. The cost is $37 per person.

The setting for Cupids Crime is the Alpine Resort where guests are gathering for the annual Romance and Adventure Writers Convention. Attendees eagerly anticipate the announcement of the name of this years Grand Prize Winning Author, who will not only receive national recognition, but also $50,000.

Joseph thespians performing in the mystery will be Mia Whittle, Casey Hayes, Micah Troutman, Jesse Woodhead, Felicity Gross, Destiny Remuth, Max Greenway, Haven Johnson, Bailee Wilcox, Johnelle Suto, Brooke Meyer, Noelle Sands, Sjanneke Karr and Michael Thompson.

Guests who opt to play along are given nametags and identities. They look for clues and have an opportunity to question the suspects. With this years literary theme, the guest submitting the best story of the crime will win.

The actors were involved in the writing of this years dinner theater, and who they are as individuals factored into the final identity of the characters they created.
