2:52 p.m. After a home visit, Alan Nieth, 22, of Enterprise, was arrested by Parole and Probation and charged with probation violation. Transported to Union County Jail.
4:25 p.m. After a home visit by Parole and Probation, Gerritt Johnson, 20, of Enterprise, was arrested and charged with probation violation. Transported to Union County Jail.

3:30 p.m. City Hall in Joseph requests abandoned vehicle be removed from the city streets. The registered owner was contacted and the vehicle removed.
3:39 p.m. Complaint of loose cattle in Minam. Caller was advised that Minam is in open range.
5:36 p.m. After receiving a report of a person walking along the highway in rural Enterprise near dusk, deputies made contact and found her local indigent services for the evening.

Sept. 12, 2012
Gary Michael Montoya, 50, Enterprise, pleaded guilty to possession of prohibited firearms, unlawful use of a weapon and possession of methamphetamine, all Class C felonies, and two counts of menacing, a Class A misdemeanor. In all, Montoya was sentenced to 36 months probation, with jail times ranging from one year to 30 days, with some to be served concurrently; total jail time to be served is one year and 30 days. Fees and fines of $1,600 were imposed, with another $5,620 suspended. Among conditions of probation: no contact with victim(s), no alcohol/bars, undergo drug and alcohol evaluation within 30 days of release from jail, enter/complete recommended treatment program. Additional charges, dismissed: pointing a firearm at another, stalking, harassment and telephonic harassment.
David Anthony David Quick, 27, Enterprise, arraigned on charges of assault-4 and harassment (physical).
Margaret Kite-Martin, Joseph, pleaded no contest to charge of telephonic harassment, order approved by judge staying further criminal proceedings pending diversion, $50 diversion fee, DA will either move the charge be dropped or defendant be sentenced at end of 180-day diversion period.
David William Wehinger, 24, Joseph, DUII, one-year diversion agreement, $490 diversion, must install an ignition interlock device in any vehicle operated by Wehinger during agreement.
Lucinda Olsen, 58, Enterprise, pleaded guilty to hit and run (animal), $195 fine.
Connor Evans, 18, arraigned on charge of MIP.
Sept. 19, 2012
Christopher Harshman, 22, Enterprise, was arraigned on grand jury indictment, charged with delivering cocaine within 1,000 foot of a school and delivery of cocaine to person under 18, both Class A felonies; assault-3, a Class C felony; and recklessly endangering another and endangering the welfare of a minor, both Class A misdemeanors.
Shawn Waite, 37, Prineville, pleaded guilty to hunting on enclosed land of another, reduced from Class A misdemeanor to Class A violation, sentenced to 12-month bench probation, including 20 hours community service work, letter of apology to victim, $750 fine with $500 suspended, $100 compensatory fine to Wallowa County Decoy Fund, $233 fees.
Shelli Rousseau, 49, Umatilla, probation revoked (original charge DUII), sentenced to 30 days jail with $25 probation violation fee.
