Wedding reception - Winings - photo

A reception for Christine Winings and Jedediah (Jedd) Schwiderski, who were married July 12 in Colorado, is scheduled for the Park at the River at Wallowa Lake on Sunday, Sept. 2, at 7 p.m.

Christine and Jedd were wed in a morning ceremony in a meadow in Rocky Mountain National Park. They were married by Jake Kasper, a close friend of the couple.

The bride, a 2002 graduate of Joseph High School, is the daughter of Starr and the late David Winings.

She graduated from Whitman College in 2006 with a BS degree in sociology and from Bowling Green State University, Ohio, with a masters degree in 2008. The past four years she has worked at the University of Colorado as a residence hall director. She recently accepted a position as an assistant director of residence education at the University of Northern Colorado in Greeley.

The groom is the son of Frank and Chris Schwiderski of Evergreen, Colo., and graduated from Conifer High School in 1997 He received a BS degree in marketing at Southern Colorado University and a masters degree in business administration from the University of Colorado in Denver in 2011. He works at FreeWave Technologies in Boulder, Colo.

Jennifer Martin of Cincinnati, Ohio, a grade school friend, was Christinas attendant. Jedds best man was Chet Clift of Wichita, Kansas, a high school friend.

The newly-weds cut the wedding cake at a family luncheon at the Estes Park Resort overlooking Lake Estes after the ceremony. A wedding reception was hosted by the grooms parents at their home in Evergreen July 14.

The newlyweds are making their home in Erie, Colo.
