DEATH NOTICE: Ellwood ‘Woody’ Surber

Ellwood “Woody” Surber, 79, died peacefully on Monday, Feb. 13, 2012, from complications associated with a long fight with diabetes. He was at his home surrounded by his loving family.

A viewing will be available on Saturday, Feb. 18, from noon to 1:30 p.m. at Harvest Church in Baker City with the service commencing at 2 p.m. followed by interment at Mt. Hope cemetery with military honors. Following the interment friends are invited to join the family for a reception that will be held at the Harvest Church Fellowship Hall.
