Dan Duncan, 64, of Wallowa County died Feb. 8, 2012, at home with his family.
He was born in Enterprise to Bob and Ada Duncan. He spent most of his life working and playing in Wallowa County.

On June 15, 1969, he married Susan Kliewer and began the adventure of raising kids, crops and cows in the Leap area.
Dan built a legacy of love, fun and service. He enjoyed hunting with gun and bow, playing games and winning bets, jumping off cliffs at the blue hole, wrestling and teasing children, working on puzzles and brainteasers and helping anyone. He loved his family and Jesus.
Dan is survived by his mother, Ada; his sisters, Kathy, Jan and Margaret; his wife, Sue Duncan; sons, Dave and Rob; daughter-in-law Tamarah; and a pack of grandchildren who loved their papa and his beat-up old hat with turkey feather.
A memorial service will be held at the Baptist Church at 2 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 16, 2012.
