A meeting will be held Wednesday, Feb. 8, at 6:30 p.m. in the Wallowa Senior Center to gauge interest in starting a farmers market in Wallowa. People with large gardens are urged to attend, as well as people who are interested in helping to grow more local food. People with other food (or handcrafted) items they would like to sell at a farmers market are welcome to attend.

Joshua Russell, an AmeriCorp volunteer working for Northeast Oregon Economic Development District, will be on hand to help with suggestions.
