In unofficial results, Billy Snodgrass of Dubois, Wyo., has won the 200-mile sled dog race in the Eagle Cap Extreme in a time of 35 hours 57 minutes, crossing the finish line shortly at 12:57 a.m. Saturday.
This is Snodgrass’ fourth Eagle Cap win — he also finished first in the 200-miler in 2010 (time 37:19), 2009 (time 35:03) and 2006, when the race was stopped at the halfway point because of blizzard conditions.
