Thursday, Dec. 15

Wallowa High School Winter Concert (grades 6-12), 6:30 p.m., Beth Johnson Room, Wallowa School.

Enterprise Elementary (grades K-4) program, 1 p.m., Enterprise school big gym.

Friday, Dec. 16

Wallowa County Homeschool Group cookie decorating, 10 a.m. Grace Lutheran Church, 409 W. Main St., Enterprise. Bring one dozen unfrosted cookies and any special decorations; frosting will be provided. For info: Tracy Frasch, 541-263-1140.

Holiday potluck, 6:30 p.m., South Fork Grange, Lostine. Event includes music and Santa Claus; bring dish to share and those who have children are asked to bring a gift to give them at end of evening.

Saturday, Dec. 17

Annual Christmas Children’s Matinee (“The Muppets Christmas Carol”), 12:45 p.m., OK Theatre; Santa Claus, escorted by Enterprise Fire Department, will greet kids after the movie at about 2:15 p.m.

Santa Claus to visit Wallowa, 2-4 p.m., Wallowa City Hall. Santa will be escorted into town at 2 p.m. by the Wallowa Fire Department. He will be available to hear children’s Christmas wishes and will hand out small goody bags. Parents are invited to bring cameras. For info: call Wallowa City Hall, 541-886-2422.

Wagon rides, caroling and chili feed, 4 p.m., Lostine Presbyterian Church, Lostine.

Old-Time Community Dance, 7-10:30 p.m., 2nd floor of South Fork Grange Hall, Lostine. This dance is a benefit for M. Crow Mercantile store. Beginners welcome, no partners necessary. Admission: $3/person, $5/couple, $10/family; under age 12, free. Desserts and non-alcoholic drinks for sale at dance. For info: call Laura Skovlin, 541-398-0800.

Sunday, Dec. 18

Wallowa County Christmas Bird Count, meet at 7 a.m. (earlier to have breakfast), Friends Restaurant, Enterprise.

Children’s Christmas Bazaar, 1-3 p.m., Beth Johnson Room, Wallowa school; hosted by WHS Rotary Interact Club. Refreshments will be available and Santa will be hearing Christmas wishes in the hallway.

Christmas Potluck, 2 p.m., North End Grange. Dessert auction, music and visiting planned. For info: 541-828-7742.

Community concert hosted by Wallowa Valley Music Alliance, 3 p.m., Stage One, 117 1/2 Main Street, Enterprise. A long line-up of local musicians will be featured. Doors open at 2:30 p.m., and cookies and hot cider will be served. Free, but donations accepted. For info: 541-426-3390.

Wallowa Valley Chorale and Wallowa County Bell Choir performance, 7 p.m., St. Katherine’s Catholic Church; refreshments served after the performance.

Tuesday, Dec. 20

Imnaha Student Christmas program 5 p.m., Imnaha School.

Enterprise 5-8th grade band and music concert, 6:30 p.m., OK Theatre, Enterprise.

Wednesday, Dec. 21

Live Nativity Scene, 5-8 p.m., across street from Safeway; sponsored by Enterprise LDS Church.

Friday, Dec. 23

Volunteers deliver Elks Christmas Baskets, starting 8 a.m., at Enterprise Elks Lodge.

Saturday, Dec. 24

Christmas Eve candlelight service, 7 p.m., Lostine Presbyterian Church.

Sunday, Dec. 25

Christmas dinner, 1-2:30 p.m., Community Connection. No charge. Attendees may bring a dessert or a salad. Donations to Food Bank welcomed. For info: JoAnn, 541-426-0609.
