Alyssa D. Slater and Todd E. Mullarkey are engaged to be married on Dec. 31, 2011, in Enterprise.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Louise Miller of La Grande and Raymond Slater of Las Vegas, Nev. 

Alyssa completed her undergraduate education at Eastern Oregon and Portland State Universities and obtained her law degree and master’s in philosophy from Boston University. Since 2005 Alyssa has maintained her law practice in Enterprise, focusing on estate planning and probate, business, real property and family law.

The groom-to-be is the son of William and Lori Mullarkey of Enterprise. He owns and operates Mullarkey Trucking and B&T Support Services in Oregon, and is part-time manager of Sonrise Farms in Orange Grove, Texas.
