Families invited to Kidfest Friday

ENTERPRISE – All Wallowa County children and families are invited to join community agencies and county safety service providers on Friday, Oct. 7, from 3:30 to 7 p.m. at Cloverleaf Hall. The event is Kidfest 2011, a celebration of Wallowa County kids and families.

The 12th annual health and safety fair features games, a bounce house, crafts, a petting zoo, bike raffle, entertainment, door prizes, a free dinner and more. The event is intended for kids of all ages.

Kidfest is a collaborative effort funded by several county organizations and coordinated by Building Healthy Families. The event is designed to provide positive exposure and family access to social service and safety agencies.

This year’s theme is “Bedtime Stories,” with more than 15 community partners providing games and activities focused around popular bedtime stories for children.
