Ted Biegel of Lebanon, Ky., a former resident of Joseph, died Aug. 2, 2011, in Louisville, Ky., at age 55.

He was born in Hermiston to Robert and Sheila Biegel. He attended Sherman County High School in Moro and served in the U.S. Marine Corps.

In 1998 he was married to Bernadine Allen.

During his lifetime, Mr. Biegel lived in Umatilla, Joseph, The Dalles, Moro and Lebanon, Ky.

Survivors include his parents; his wife, Bernadine; son, Sean Biegel; daughter, Sheila Biegel; stepchildren Stanley, Ricky, Timmy and Elizabeth; brothers, Stephen and Rob Biegel; sister Cynthia Saenz; and 13 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents Lawrence and Elaine Stephens and Milton and Helen Biegel, uncle Mantia Stephens and niece Rozanne Biegel.

Services were held Aug. 5, 2011, in Lebanon, Ky., with arrangements by Campbell-DeWitt Funeral Home. Burial is planned in the Olney Cemetery Oct. 1, 2011, in Pendleton.
