WALLOWA A workday at the Tamkaliks grounds at Wallowa will begin at 9 a.m. Saturday, July 16, with lunch and beverages provided.  The sprucing-up of the grounds is in preparation for the 21st annual Tamkaliks Celebration coming up July 22-24.

Volunteers are asked to bring their weed-eater, mower, rake, gloves, and other garden tools.  

Anyone who enjoys walking, exercising their dog, bird watching, horseback riding or hiking on the Nez Perce Homeland Site is encouraged to consider offering their help Saturday.
