Wallowa County graduates earn $269,311 in scholarships, awards

With some scholarship notices still coming in, members of Wallowa Countys Class of 2011 have so far received notice of a total of $269,311 in scholarships and academic grants/awards.
The scholarships come from private and public colleges, as well as many local organizations, trusts and memorial funds.

Enterprise High School seniors earned $135,294; Joseph High School, $77,483; and Wallowa High School, $56,534.
Last year the total for the three schools was $199,409.
The scholarship amounts listed below are for the first year of college, with many renewable for up to four years.
