Ken Brock (right), winner of the home run derby held July 2 in Wallowa, and his pitcher, Bo Wicklander of Joseph. Brock, who traveled from The Dalles to play in this past weekend’s eight-team softball tournament in Wallowa, hit four of five pitches over the fence in the home run derby’s first round, and homered on two of three pitches in the second round to win it. Brock formerly lived in La Grande.
