Twenty-six members of the Wallowa High School Class of 2011 will receive their diplomas during the graduation ceremony at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 28, in the school gymnasium.
Taylor Makin will speak as valedictorian and Jessica Mendez will deliver the salutatory address.
Following a WHS tradition, the valedictorian from 10 years ago Billie-Jo Deal Craigmile of the Class of 2001 will give the commencement address.
Superintendent Bob Sisk will welcome everyone to the ceremony, while Warren Wilson will present the graduating class and school board chairman Ed Millar will present the diplomas.
The processional and the recessional will be performed by the junior/senior high school band.
Black, white and silver are the class colors, while We cannot direct the winds, but we can adjust the sails (Anonymous) is the class motto.
