Bonnie Anne Lund-Jewart of Allyn,  Wash., the mother of two Wallowa County residents, died April 1, 2011, at age 72.

She was born in Denver, Colo., June 4, 1938,  to Buelah and Leonard Rutherford. She graduated from East Bremerton High School in Bremerton, Wash., in 1957.

She  married Stan Lund in 1958 and had four sons. Bonnie worked at the Pierce County Clerks office in Tacoma, Wash., as well as the Jefferson County Courthouse in Port Townsend, Wash.

She later found the love of her life in Richard Jewart and they pursued travel, boating, horseback riding and a love of dogs together for 20 years. 

Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents and her son Richie Lund. 

She is survived by husband Richard, sons David Lund of Enterprise, Dennis Lund of Joseph and Eric Lund of Federal Way, Wash.; sisters Liz Hoffman of Brinnon, Wash., Beverly Rood of Silverdale, Wash., Betty Bachs of Allyn, Wash. and Teresa Smith of Bremerton, Wash.; and brother Lenny of Belfair, Wash., as well as grandchildren and great grandchildren.
