Courthouse Concert Series
The free Courthouse Concert Series takes place on the lawn of the Wallowa County Courthouse in Enterprise from 5:30 to 7 p.m. every Thursday, June through August.
The public can bring a blanket, lawn chair and cooler to enjoy local and visiting musicians as they perform on the gazebo stage.
A farmers’ market will set up at 4 p.m. on concert days to sell fresh local produce.
The courthouse concerts are sponsored by the nonprofit Wallowa Valley Music Alliance, which organizes many of the music events in the county.

Old-Time Blue Mountain Fiddle Show
Toe-tapping fiddle music is featured at an annual fiddle show Saturday, June 11, at Cloverleaf Hall in Enterprise.
The event draws old-time fiddlers from all over the region. Dinner will be served at 5 p.m., with the show set to start at 6 p.m. Admission is $5 for adults. Children under 12 are free. For information: Call show director Pat Samples, 541-432-3195.
Wallowa Fiddle Tunes Workshop
The Wallowa Fiddle Tunes Workshop annually draws more than 100 participants to the school campus in Wallowa for a five-day, family-oriented learning experience. It will be held July 11-15. Sponsored by the Wallowa Valley Music Alliance, the classes offer fiddle, mandolin, dulcimer and other classes for musicians of all ages and abilities. Participants have the chance to provide the music for a country dance on Thursday night of workshop week.
This summer the music alliance will add another workshop Dulcimer Week in the Wallowas. The event is July 5-11 at Wallowa Lake Camp and Retreat Center.

Summer Swing Music at the Mall
The public is invited to enjoy music by local performers at the free Summer Swing concert series. It wil be 6 to 8 p.m. (weather permitting) every Wednesday from July through September. The event is held in the grassy area of Heritage Mall at 203 N. Main Street, Joseph.
Local performers will present a variety of music styles for the first hour. Musicians are invited to bring their instruments and join in a jam session for the second hour. For information: 541-432-7030.
Bronze Blues and Brews
The Bronze Blues and Brews music festival will celebrate its 15th year of providing a day of hot blues and cold brews at Joseph City Park on Aug. 13.
Every year the family-friendly fest fills the park, which adds a garden of bronze sculptures for the day.
The public is invited to bring in lawn chairs, sunscreen and blankets for the all-day music fest, which starts at noon and will continue until after dark. Food vendors set up on site, and a free shuttle bus runs between the park, Enterprise and Wallowa Lake.
Admission is limited to 2,000 people, so advance ticket purchase is advised. Tickets are $25 each ($30 at the gate) online or at local outlets; kids10 and under are admitted free.
Performing will be Nick Moss and the Flip Flops, Trampled Under Foot (a past winner of the International Blues Challenge), Becky Sue and her Big Rockin’ Daddies, Kevin Selfe & the Tornados and Terry Robb.

Juniper Jam
Billed as The sweetest little music festival in Eastern Oregon, Juniper Jam debuted in 2009 at Wallowa County Fairgrounds in Enterprise, and will return on Sept. 3.
The festival is a harmonious blend of many styles of music, including bluegrass, folk, blues, jazz and country, aiming to appeal to a range of musical tastes. Music will start at 11 a.m. and continue until 10 p.m. In addition to headliners on the main stage, local musicians and songwriters entertain on a smaller Tunesmith stage.
Food and drink will be available, artists will give demonstrations and childrens activities are planned.
The public is asked to bring blankets and lawn chairs, wear layered clothing for typical temperature changes and leave pets and coolers at home.
Tickets are $10 and will be available at the gate, with children under 6 free.
