The deadline to file as a candidate for school  and other district board positions in the May 17 election is 5 p.m. today?(March 17).

Candidates must file at  the Wallowa County Clerks Office in the courthouse.

Positions on school boards, the education serivice district board, cemetery boards, rural fire district boards,  the Wallowa County Health Care District,  the Evergreen Sewer and Water District and the  Lower Valley Water Improvement District will be decided May 17
