Master illusionist visits

Brad Barton, a master illusionist and certified prevention specialist, brings his skills to Wallowa County schools this week. He is the featured entertainment at a community presentation 6 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, March 10, at Enterprise High School.
A free dinner will be served from 5:30 to 6 p.m. and free childcare will be provided. Bartons visit, which will include presentations to students and teachers over a three-day period, is sponsored by the Wallowa County Prevention Collaborative of Building Healthy Families.
Barton, who lives in Ogden, Utah, traveled a difficult journey from being a troubled youth to a NCAA All-American Athlete, and spent a decade working with youth in substance abuse and violence prevention.
He uses magical illusions to captivate audiences while providing practical guidance. His goal is to empower students to see through illusions and to discover their own personal power to create real magic.
