SP5 US Army Veteran Michael James Sleight died at the age of 61.

He was born to Graham James Sleight and Wilma Loreen Winters, in Seattle, Wash. He graduated from Enterprise High School in 1968 and after graduation immediately enlisted in the US Army. Later in life he was a contractor.

He was preceded in death by his father Jim Sleight.

He is survived by his mother, Wilma Courtney; wife, Carolyn Giles; and brothers Ross and Richard Sleight.

Services are scheduled for 11 a.m. June 28 at the Enterprise Cemetery.
