The City of Joseph hereby gives notice of a public hearing to consider the request of Joan Nash for a request to re-zone her property from R1 (Select Residential) to R2 (General Residential). The parcel is located at 802 South College [2S4532CB, Tax Lot 301].

Review Criteria: Statewide Goals, City of Joseph Land Use Plan, City of Joseph Zoning Ordinance, Article 1 – Sections 1.020; 1.030;1.040; 1.050; 1.060; Article 2 – Section 2.010; 2.020; 2.030; Article 3 – Section 3..040; Article 9 – Section 9.010; 9.030;9.080.

The hearing will commence on Thursday, July 1, 2010 at 7:30 p.m.; Joseph Community Center 102 East First Street, Joseph, OR. Those with an interest in the application are invited to appear at the hearing and place their testimony on record for council deliberation. Written testimony will be taken up to the time of the hearing. Failure to raise an issue with sufficient specificity to afford the decision maker and the parties an opportunity to respond to the issue precludes an appeal to the land Use Board of Appeals based on that issue.

The application may be reviewed in the City Hall during normal working hours.
