EHS hosts Silver Tea

Enterprise High School’s FACS (Family and Consumer Sciences) students had a chance to model the garments they made during the school year at their festive annual Silver Tea. This year the theme was “Lights, Camera, Action.”

The May also doubled as a chance to hand out awards to FACS students and members of the Enterprise FCCLA (Family Community and Career Leaders of America) members.

Among award winners were: Wade Morton, Outstanding Senior FACS; and for FCCLA achievement, Joscelyn Stangel, Outstanding Senior; Samantha Eatwell, Outstanding Junior; Morgan Green, Outstanding Sophomore; and Marta Stangel, Outstanding Freshman.

The Chapter President’s Scholarship was given to Joscelyn Stangel.

Honorary membership in the Enterprise FCCLA chapter was awarded to Cathy Hunter, Keli Christman and Dick Stangel.

New chapter moms announced for the 2010-11 school year are Nora Stangel, Cathy Hunter and Tami Wightman.

New FCCLA officers who were installed at the end of the tea were: president, Addie Stein; vice president, Samantha Eatwell; secretary, Kayla Arquette; treasurer, Hannah Graham; public relations director, Marta Stangel; historian, Stephanie Hunter, senior class representative, Kyle Stangel; junior representative, Morgan Green; and sophomore representative, John Green.
