How to build more energy efficient new homes with design assistance, early plan review, building science coaching, performance testing – and qualification for tax credits and financial incentives – will be covered in a free Builders Breakfast at 8 a.m. Monday, April 26, in Enterprise. The meeting will be held in the Renewable Energy Solutions conference room, 401 NE First Street.

The workshop is designed for new home builders, designers, residential contractors and the public.

The session will include an overview of key building science features, plan review/evaluation services, builder support, performance verification, designing for renewables, financial incentives, tax credits and other elements of the Energy Trust of Oregon’s Energy Performance Score program for new homes.
