Karen Jacqueline Scott, 67, of Wallowa died in Enterprise.
She was born to Virgil and Hazel Critz in Portland, the 10th of 11 children. She attended school in Midvale and Weiser, Idaho.
In the summer of 1961, Karen met and married Russell Fisher. Together, they raised four children while living in Al-bany, On-tario and Baker. Karen and Russell divorced in 1988.
While living in Union and working at the Brunswick in Elgin, Karen met Lawrence “Charlie” Scott. In July of 1995, they married in Bonners Ferry, Idaho. Together they made their home in Elgin until moving to Lake Havasu, Ariz., for seven years. Charlie and Karen lived the last eight years in Wallowa.
Karen was an avid gardener, a wonderful cook, a curious explorer, and a dear friend, wife, mother, and grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her father, mother, and siblings.
She is survived by her husband, Charlie Scott of Wallowa; sons, Russell and his wife Kathy of Lewiston, Idaho;, Randy Fisher of Puyallup, Wash., Kelly Fisher and his wife Teresa of Enterprise, and Grady Fisher and his wife Lisa of Juneau, Alaska; step-children, Janet Borba, Kevin Scott and Erin Scott; 22 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Memorial Services were held on March 24 at the Elgin Community Center.
