Joseph High School’s boys scored eight three-pointers last week.

Sophomore Trevor Lewis made two of the big baskets Feb. 5 at home against second-place Powder Valley, and junior Matt Doud converted one, but they had little impact in the Eagles’ 69-45 setback.

The next day, hosting Wallowa, junior Ian Baynes hit three three-pointers, Lewis added two more and junior Forrest Watson had one in a 58-35 loss.

The Eagles’ overall record fell to 4-17. Their mark in the district slipped to 2-7.

Baynes totaled 25 points. Lewis scored 24 points, half of that due to his outside shooting. Watson had 9, Trent Martin 8, Doud 7, Zach Staidle 5 and Lucas Staigle 2.
