Troopers cite 250 for no Sno-Park permit

On Saturday, December 18th, two Oregon State Police (OSP) troopers cited over 250 vehicles for violation of the Sno-Park permit law in the Mt. Hood area. The permit costs just $20 for a year – the citation can result in a $30 fine.
Between November 1 and April 30, Sno-Park permits are required to be displayed in the windshield of vehicles parked in designated winter recreation areas including Salt Creek Summit and Ferguson Ridge.

Three types of Sno-Park permits are available for purchase: Annual, $20; three-day, $7; and day permits at $3.
Sno-Park permits are sold at all DMV offices and by permit agents in resorts, sporting goods stores, and other retail outlets.
