Regarding the guest commentary, “A rose for Perren, a brick for Bush” (Chieftain, June 19):

Thank you for an accurate analysis of G.W.B in the Air National Guard. He should be as ashamed of his service then as now as president. The Republicans have given us eight years of the worst and the dimmest and now want us to listen again. Don’t think so. Thanks.
