Circuit courtJune 11
Jeffrey Ronald Bennett, 22, Wallowa, pleaded guilty to theft-1, sentenced to 24-months bench probation, 80 hours community service work for nonprofit organization at rate of 10 hours per month, to write letter of apology to City of Wallowa, $1,000 fine with $800 suspended, $130 attorney fees, $133 fees, $1,004.22 restitution and $100 compensatory fine to City of Wallowa.
Marshall Grey Cox, 18, Wallowa, arraigned by grand jury indictment on charges of theft-1 and felon in possession of firearm; in a separate case, Cox was arraigned by the grand jury on charges of burglary-2, two counts of theft-1 and two counts of felon in possession of firearm.
Shelley Ann Goodman, 54, Joseph, arraigned by grand jury indictment on charges of two counts theft-1 and two counts felon in possession of firearm.
Jesse G. Russell, 20, La Grande, pleaded guilty to minor possessing alcoholic beverage while operating motor vehicle, driver’s license suspended for one year, sentenced to bench probation for one year, no alcohol/taverns, schedule substance abuse evaluation and abide by recommended treatment, $355 fine with $150 suspended, $67 fees.
John Howard Harshman, 47, Joseph, arraigned on charge of attempt to elude police, DUII and possession of less than ounce marijuana.
