Regarding your story “Honoring the sacrifice” about Brian “Willard” Wizard (Chieftain, May 22):

The guy’s a wacko! Oh, wait a minute. He’s a friend and the first door gunner I had on my helicopter in Vietnam. We rode out good times and bad over there. He has a way with words. We still communicate at least monthly. Oh yeah, I took the picture that you used in the article.
