A public meeting of the Budget Committee of the Enterprise Cemetery District, Wallowa County, State of Oregon to discuss the budget for the fiscal year July 1, 2008 to June 30, 2009, will be held at 1120 SE Florence St., Enterprise, Oregon. The meeting will take place on 20th day of May 2008 at 6:00 p.m. The purpose of the meeting is to receive the budget message and to receive comment from the public on the budget. A copy of the budget document may be inspected or obtained on or after May 20, 2008 at 1120 SE Florence St., Enterprise, between the hours of 1:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. This is a public meeting where deliberation of the Budget Committee will take place. Any person may appear at the meeting and discuss the proposed programs with the Budget Committee.

Public Notice Notice is hereby given of a public hearing to be held by the Wallowa County Planning Commission on Tuesday, May 26 2008 at 7:00pm in the Courtroom of the Wallowa County Courthouse. The agenda for this meeting will include the following items: Bingaman CUP #08-06 – A request to operate an agricultural sales business specializing in irrigation supply and large equipment. The property is zoned Rural Commercial (R/C). The property is identified as Township 2 South, Range 45, Section 20, tax lot 300. Bar B Ranch CUP # 07-16 – FINDINGS – A proposal to develop a Personal Use Airstrip. The property is identified as Township 4 North, Range 42, Sec 15, tax lot 3700. The property is zoned Timber Grazing (T/G). At the April hearing the Planning Commission passed a motion to approve the application. Wenaha Muzzleloaders TUP # 08-01 – FINDINGS – A request for a Temporary Use Permit for the operation of a shooting range. The property is zoned Timber Grazing (T/G). The applicant is the Wenaha Muzzle Loaders and the application would cover both annual and monthly organized events and would not apply to any activity outside of the organized events of the Wenaha Muzzle Loaders. The property description is Township 5 North, Range 43, tax lot 1500, contains 160.4 acres, and is owned by the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife (ODF&W). At the April hearing the Planning Commission passed a motion to approve the application. The June Planning Commission meeting is scheduled for June 24, 2008. These matters will be reviewed for conformance to the WCCLUP and WCLDO and any other applicable goal, regulation or ordinance of Wallowa County or the State of Oregon.
