- Brennan Anderson update
Brennan Anderson, the 18-year-old snowmobiler from Joseph Oregon, rescued along with his friend Sam Bowman, 50, of Enterprise on Jan. 28, has been transported to the Portland area to be near the Oregon Burn Center and is under a doctor’s care. Anderson suffered 3rd degree frostbite on both feet. It is not yet known if he will have to have skin grafts, but family friend Myrla Clark reported that Anderson was scheduled to undergo exploratory surgery this week to determine why his feet were not healing properly.
An account has been set up at all Community Banks in Anderson’s name to help with the medical bills.
Anderson has sent a message through friends that he would like to thank every one for all their time, effort, thoughts and Prayers. He is still in a wheelchair but in good spirits. Anderson acknowledged that he has a long recovery ahead but he is looking forward to being able to walk again.
