You said it in your editorial. Van Blaricom is a rabble-rouser. His column does no credit to the Chieftain. His opinons are often not well-founded and are intended to divide and inflame the community. What kind of pressure has been put upon a new editor to dredge up this scribe? Why would you want a “rabble-rouser” to represent the citizens of Wallowa County?

Please reconsider the exhumation of E.H.
