Andrew Marcum completes USMC recruit training

Andrew J. Marcum of Enterprise was recently presented the USMC Eagle, Globe and Anchor award that identifies him as a United States Marine.
Marcum’s 13 weeks of training at the Marine Corp Recruit Depot in San Diego and at Camp Pendleton, Calif. included vigorous physical and mental training, as well as schooling in martial arts, Marine Corp history and protocol.
Marcum will be stationed at Fort Leonard Wood, Mo. for specialized training in his chosen field of Military Police following three weeks of combat training at Camp Pendleton.
Marcum is a 2005 graduate of Enterprise High School and is the son Jody and Johna Marcum. He is the grandson of A.J. and Janice Burns of Adams and Harold and Rita Marcum of Enterprise.
