Fishtrap is presenting a special musical event at 8 p.m. Saturday A concert will be held in memory of Bryn Lunde, a young writerand musician, who died here in December at the old skating rink at Wallowa Lake. Admission is $5.

A local band, “Chase” will open for “Opie,” a band made up primarily of Wallowa Countians, but now playing music, working jobs and raising families in Portland.

Will Lathrop, Opie’s primary songwriter, will do a songwriting workshop on Saturday afternoon, 2-5 p.m., at the Coffin House at 400 E. Grant St, Enterprise. We’re hoping to attract local young adults to this workshop and concert, but young adults of all ages are welcome.
