‘Desperate Ambrose’ is now playing

- The MidValley Theatre cast of "Desperate Ambrose" are shooting up Lostine this week as they perform on stage at the South Fork Grange Hall. Curtains are going up on the western comedy at 7 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday, and for a final time at a 2 p.m. Sunday matinee. Performers in the play include: left to right, front row seated,Jordan Manley, Luke Zwanziger, Justin Parker, Jonathan Tollefson, and Bruce Leggett; back row , Beth Manley, Sandra Johnson, Ame' Leggett, Jera Wollenburg, Nicole Anderson; and Stairs Jerry Wallace, Rocky Wilson, Bonnie Westhoff and Brendan Leggett.
The MidValley Theatre Company production of “Desperate Ambrose” is now playing at the South Fork Grange Hall in Lostine. Curtains went up on the comedy Wednesday evening as a benefit for the Wallowa County Museum.
Additional performances are planned at 7 p.m. Thursday, Friday and Saturday this week, March 11-13, with the final performance set at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 14.
Tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for children 12 years and under at the door.
The two-hour play by Donald Payton, who also wrote “The Boarding House Reach”, features 14 local actors and is directed by Kate Loftus. Early arrival is recommended to get a good seat.
