Marian, J. Jones, 72, of Apache Junction, Ariz., died Jan. 18, 2004, in Mesa, Ariz., from cancer. She was born March 16, 1931 in Lostine to Les and Blanche (Allen) Repplinger.

After graduating from Lostine High School, she married Ray Jones in Enterprise in 1950. After working as a bookkeeper for K-Mart for 25 years, she retired in 1992. Her hobbies included painting and horseback riding, and she considered herself a Christian.

Survivors include her husband of 54 years, Ray; a son, Don Jones of Everett, Wash.; a daughter, Connie Hunt of Snohomish, Wash.; six grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.

Viewing will be held from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Jan. 29 and 30 at Purdy and Walters at the Floral Hills Funeral Home located in Lynnwood, Wash.

A memorial service will be held Sat., Jan. 31, 2004, at the Snohomish Evangelical Free Church, 210 Avenue “B,” in Snohomish, Wash., at 11 a.m.
